Back 2 School Heart 2 Heart Challenge

Well not really back to school for us yet, school does not start until Sept 7th for us but it will be here soon! Todays challenge ar http://www.heart2heartchallenges.com/ is to create something for back to school, when I saw this title I honestly was stumped at first! See this year will be my first year of homeschooling(super, super excited by the way) and so I was not quite sure where to go with this, then it dawned on me it's still back to school just homeschool, but what I needed was an album! So I got out my Cricut and "plantin schoolbook" cartridge and cut out a bunch of apples out of cardstock and then dusted off my Bind-It-All and bound the apples together! I did not do the inside pages yet as I wanted to wait until I take the pictures. I embellished the front cover with cardstock and I used the "A,B, C" Monogram Dimensional elements which I inked with Sunflower, Clover Meadow, and Dutch Blue and then stamped the polka dots from the Spot On Backgrounds stamp set on them in the same color, I did the same thing on the foam die cut numbers(123). The patterned paper I used was from the Animal Cookies Level 2 paper pack. The lines and the font I used were from the Classmate Alphabet stamp set(Love it). The little boy ang girl I stamped and then cut out and adhered with 3-d foam tape, they were from the Family Ties-children stamp set. The buttons are from the summer collection and tied with black hempI used multiple ribbon on the bindings and thats it until I get some pictures! Are you getting ready for back to school at your house? Join in our challenge and see what you can create! Happy stamping

Loved your little book! Hats off to you for homeschooling your kiddos...I don't know that I could do it! Is it bad to say I look forward to sending them off to school for 8 hours for the peace and quiet! :)

Adorable book, what a great way to dress up your supplies for home schooling! Wonderfully bright, cheery colors, sure to get any kid in the mood for learning (does that happen? lol)
