A quick picture frame

So today we had a family party at my grandparents pond and every year we have an auction, well today about an hour before we had to leave and mind you I had not showered yet, I decided I should make just one more thing for the auction! So in a real big hurry I made this 8x10 frame which was an extra I had. The paper is from Imaginese(sp?), and the image is Joline from MFT.

Colorless Image

Okay, I found a great new Copic marker tip blog called color me copic and they had an amazing tutorial on colorless images, I fell in love and had to try! The image(laundry girl) sorry her name escapes me right now, but she is from 7 kids college fund, the patterned paper is October Afternoon and the Copics were W1, W3, W5 and the colorless blender. The cardstock is CTMH, and the gray panel was stamped with CTMH's Noted backgrounds Stamp in black ink! Pearls and ribbon are from Michael's. So what do you think of colorless?

Flopsey Bunny

Well I had a whole huge long post but it disapeared and now I am out of time so this will be short and sweet! My bunny was colored with Copics and popped up, paper is October Afternoon and can I mention I love MFT which is where the open scallop border(inside of card)and the grass and the cork(1 layer of grass and scallop) and the image and sentiment all came from the Flopsey with Flowers stamp set.

My little kids-All together at once

My dad needed a picture of all 5 of my kids
together quick. So John decided to snap a quick
pic and this is it! I think it turned out great for
5 kids ages 7 to 11weeks they are all looking at
the camera, could I ask for more?

Cool Layout

Okay so I think sometimes it may be better to stay inside your box rather than go outside of it lol! This layout is definately not really my normal style and although I love the concept and love when I see other people do these kind of layouts I just don't think I can pull it off, oh well live and learn. After I finished this layout I thought, man I should have some black stitching around the outside but then it was too late, so I drew some black dashes along the edges! All of the felt is from Fancy Pants, the cardstock is CTMH, and the blue bling is from Michael's!

Perfect Day Memory Showcase

Here is what I have been working on the last few days! It's a 9x9 memory showcase album from CTMH, to make it super simple I attached Simply Snapshot "Perfect Day" pre-designed pages to form the bases of my album. Then attached my pictures and embellished as desired! Everything is from CTMH except the flower, button, ribbon combo on the cover! The titles Brothers and Sisters was cut out using the Storybook Cricut Cart. I only used 2 inks on the whole album, chocolate and cocoa. I also used Fancy cut botanicals, Just Blooms, Juniper Metal token, Colonial white buttons,Dimensional elemets bracket & swirl and Monograms "O,U,R,F,A,M,I,L,Y" Stamps sets were State Of Mind, Love You Forever, Picture
Perfect, Childhood Portrait, Authentic, Just For Girls, Just For Boys and Delightful Things.

Little Jolinne

So I got to play with another MFT goody today, her name is Jolinne is'nt she purrty? I colored her with Copics and added a couple pearls, the paper is from October Afternoon-Thrift shop, the lovely croched trim is from Wal-mart, a little spiral clip and green ribbon from CTMH and of course I sewed again! I am in such a creative mode right now, I have 100 ideas floating in my head but just not the time to put them all to paper but I am going to try even if it means creating after the kiddos go tto bed but hey who needs to sleep anyways?

Start your day with "whee"

I finally ordered some goodies from MFT and I am loving them. So I wanted to ink up my new Pure Innocence "Start the day with whee" set then I colored her rather poorly(sorry) with Copics, and used the new Rolled Flower Die-Namics to make the rolled flowers then I just added some buttons from my stash. The paper is October Afternoon and the ric-rac is from Fancy Pants! I was rushed making this card and so nothing turned out how I wanted it to, but alas it is finished, now I can not wait to play with all the rest of my stuff!

sssc78 A Baby Card

This is a card I made last night for a childhood friend and customer of mine who just recently had her first baby- a little girl! I used Karen Giron's sweet sunday sketch challenge for this week as my inspiration for this card, you can find the sketch here http://www.kgiron.blogspot.com/ . I used paper from an old K & Company kit, I just love this paper and have used it ton's of times! I also used some new lovely lace trim that I picked up at Wal-Mart, flowers from Prima, Pearls from CTMH, and the sentiment is from an H&M Stamps set(love the font), little pink bling and I even did some more stiching and the ink was CTMH'S Hollyhock! I tried to get a better picture but it is rainy and dreary here this morning, hopefully the sun will appear later!

Just For Fun

Okay, I felt like making something with this fun
funky paper from Sassafras. This was super simple to put together, I did a little stiching on the top and bottom, tied some ribbon, stuck on some bling, and stamped an SU sentiment in Tulip as well as inked the edges also in Tulip and voila I was done! Have a great weekend!

H2H-ABC challenge

Okay today I made a picture frame for the Heart 2 Heart ABC challenge this week- that stands for anything but a card! So I just got some pictures back today of my dear sweet husbands cows! We raise grass fed beef for 6 months out of the year and this picture is of this years "herd" he loves his "girls" so I thought he would get a kick out of this frame for his night stand and he can change the picture every year! He is a carpenter by day but a farmer at heart! I used all CTMH, Sarsaspirilla paper, black paint, black ink, black waxy flax, buttons, pewter brads, Desert Sand and Barn Red cardstock. I cut the stars out with my Cricut-George and Basic Shapes cart! I got a little carried away with the paint but I like the rough look on this frame! Click on the link on the left of my blog to take you to Heart 2 Heart challenges and see what you are inspired to create!

Hello-MOJO147 card

Happy Tuesday everyone! I made today's card using the MOJO147 sketch, I did veer off course a little from the sketch but that's okay the whole point is just to get your mojo going right? So for this card I used October Afternoon's Thrift Shop paper(shock and awe) and a new Studio G stamp I got at Michael's for a buck, I also used CTMH'S Say It In Style ss for the sentiment, everything was distressed(perhaps I got a little carried away?) with Tim Holt's Vintage Photo distress ink and CTMH'S Desert sand, but honestly can one ever have too much distressing? Nevermind don't answer that! Now the next thing I need to work on is a light box so my photo's are not so horrid or maybe I need to just hire a professional photographer to sit here and take pictures of my stuff for me-Aubrey are you looking for a job? Oh well in the mean time I'll just keep on taking bad pics and you will just have to pretend that they are really good ones sound like a deal?

A New Look

So what do you think about my new blog header? I am in love, after looking at so many other adorable blogs lately I was totally inspired to revamp mine. However there was one big problem- I have no computer skills at all-zip-zero-zilch, enter Heather from Individual Blog Banners- The link is on my side bar, this girl is seriously talented and seriously quick she designed this for me and installed it on my blog in less than 24 hours-wowsers! She is also an amazing stamper and stamp designer/illustrator. If you are looking for a new look-look no further(is that a tongue twister?) Heather is your gal! So if you love my new banner as much as me please leave me a comment and let me know and you could let Heather know too! Have a great night!

c4c45 card

For this card I followed the color challenge from crazy 4 challenges, you were to use Red, white, and black. I used paper from October Afternoon and CTMH, I also used the Something Splendid SS which is the August Stamp Of The Month! A little satin bow and a tulip button, easy peasy!
