You will have to forgive me, my mind is not working exactly right, I found out today a classmate of mine passed away and it is totally taken over my thoughts-so very sad. My thoughts and prayers are with her family as they try to cope with this very unexpected loss. This card is based off from this weeks Mojo Monday sketch found here and the name off the paper escapes me right now, I have had it for a few years though, the main image is from SU and the sentiment is from CTMH.

Stich it up again?
Okay so here is my second try for MFT'S guest design team challenge for December. This time I cut out 2 green felt pieces using one of my Spellbinder labels and sewed them together to make a bag, then I sewed on wide grossgrain ribbon for the handles, then using 3 different MFT Die-namic dies I cut out all the felt flowers, open scallop edge and decorative doily. Then I used a sentiment from MFT stamped on another Spellbinders label, then I added some pearls and then added a purple grossgrain bow. I made a little container(empty CTMH ribbon round container) and altered it using Cosmo Cricut's Mitten Weather paper, a MS punch, another rolled rose and pearl and the body scrub was stamped from MFT'S Time For The Bubbly ss. I will fill this with homemade brown sugar scrub closer to Christmas and this little set will probably be for my brothers girlfriend! Have a great night, it's almost bedtime here!
Christmas Tea
This card is my entry for the guest designer of the month contest at MFT called stich it up. You need to use stiching on your project. Now I am not real happy with my card, so I am going to try to one-up myself later today-we shall see how that works out. For this card I used paper from K & Company and my lovely little tea party Pure Innocence girl from MFT. I did lots of paper piecing and I hand drew the floor and then did all my coloring with Copics. I stiched around the border of the card and then on the tablecloth-that was not easy! I also used Mft's rolled flower Die-namic die to make the flower out of felt and the leaves from the flower trio die also from MFT. I stuck a pearl on the flower and little ones on my girly girl for earrings. I stamped a little tree from CTMH's Holiday Hoopla ss on my scalloped oval to hopefully resemble a wall hanging.
Heart 2 Heart- A Sketch
Hello, it is Monday again already, I hope you all had a fantastic Thanksgiving weekend, I know I did. Daddy got to be home from work for 4 whole days, we got about 6 inches of wonderful fluffy snow perfect for playing in, lots of leftovers and we played lots of UNO. Now it's time to get back to school and work. The challenge this week at H2H Challenges is a sketch challenge, which by the way I love it gives you a great starting point. For my card today I used the wonderful "Mistletoe" paper which I just adore, I also used the Father CHristmas stamp set for the sentiment which I stamped in New England Ivy, then I colored in the berries with a cranberry marker. Now do you notice those lovely red pearls? They are from CTMH, they are our Opaques they just happened to start out white and I colored them. I really wanted red so I just colored them with a red Copic marker while they were still on the carrier sheet and then let them dry. AHHH the perfect solution to make any color you wish, this also works on our clear sparkles as well. That super cute button was made with cranberry cardstock and a button Die-namics die from MFT. I hope you all head on over to H2H and be inspired by the fabulous stuff the design team created this week, then try out the sketch for yourself using mostly CTMH products then link it up on the H2H blog and hey you never know you just might be featured in the next Friday Five.

A SFYTT-HEARTFELT CHRISTMAS
Yay, I finally got to play a little today and decided to do Jen's SFYTT. I really liked the sketch and there is always tons of fabulous inspiration from the design team. For my card I used Eskimo Kisses from Basic Grey-Oh how I heart this paper! I also used CTMH'S Heartfelt Christmas stamp set and stamped the images in Blush then rolled the edges in Prisma glitter. Then I used a MS bunny punch for the little bunnies, I added some bitty sparkles and ribbon from MS.
A Thankful Thanksgiving
I
really strive to be thankful each and every day, but on Thanksgiving it is so nice to celebrate that thankfullness. I am not to chatty today so I thought I would just post a couple pictures from our Thanksgiving at my house. I tried to be all Martha Stewarty but I think I fell a little short, I guess that means I'll have to hone(sp?) my skills practice makes perfect they say! Anyways we had a great day, great food and most importantly we were together, enjoy your weekend!

All Hearts Come Home For Christmas Wall Hanging
As I was unpacking my new packages of cloth napkins for Thanksgiving, I found these awesome heavyduty squares made of- well I don't really know what but whatever it is, it looked cool and very scrapbooky, they measured 6 1/2 x 6 1/2. So I knew right away I wanted to make a wall hanging and I used "Noel" paper from Making Memories and the stamp set is a Pure Innocence stamp from MFT is'nt she purty? I paper pieced her coat, hat, mitten, boots, scarf, and sled and the rest was colored with Copics.. I also put liquid applique on her hat and boots to make them look puffy. Everything is distressed in Vintage Photo Ink from Tim Holts, I added ruby shoes stickles on the Christmas tree, a ZVA crystal flourish and some black sparkles from Recollections. The flower I made with CTMH's Tulip cardstock and I stuck a Fillagree charm in the middle. Next I punched 2 holes in the top with my cropodile and added some black silk ribbon and now a cute little wall hanging.
Heart2Heart-Thank You
Wow sorry for the way late Heart 2 Heart post, this week your challenge is to make a thank you card/item. I made this cute little box/bag using cardstock and Mistletoe paper, I used a new MS punch to make the handle. I used this months fabulous SOTM-A Little Thanks for the sentiment which I cut out and the Heartfelt Christmas set for the reindeer. I used some just blooms flowers, sparkles and a snowflake from a MS punch. Super easy and I plan to give it to a neighbor filled with Christmas cookies as a thank you gift. To join us for this weeks challenge just make a thank you papercraft using mostly CTMH and then link it up on the H2H site and when you are there you can check out the rest of the design teams awesome work!

The design team and guest designer Leisa have some fantastically beautiful samples for you and we have a prize sponser this week Mary Eisen. So head over to H2H check out the beautiful cards then get to work making your own beautiful girly project using mostly CTMH products and then link it up and have a chance to win a great prize or be featured as a Friday Five winner! My card uses the very girly Topstich paper pack along with the Happy Endings stamp set, my pretty princess was paper pieced and the other images were colored with Copics, the sentiment is stamped in Vineyard Berry and I ran my glue pen around the edge of the nestability panel and then sprinkled it with Prisma Glitter. The wand and crown also have some Glitz glitter gel as well. I also used Colonial White Just Blooms flowers and a rolled flower made using Baby Pink paper and the Rolled flower die from MFT. I also used Heavenly Blue ribbon and some tiny pink sparkles, I then punched the bottom of my card using an MS punch, lined the inside of my Colonial White card base with Baby Pink cardstock and then placed a bunch of Opaques. Very girly now I just have to wait for the perfect occaion to give this card to someone, I think this would look adorable in a little girls bedroom!

Felt snowman tag
Here is a little tag that I started last night at about 11:00 pm but did not finish till this afternoon. I made the little snowman out of felt and did some stiching, I then attached a snowflake button to his top hat and then attached him to my tag! He and all the paper were distressed with Tim Holtzs Vintage Photo ink, the paper is Mitten Weather from Cosmo, the sentiment stamp is from SU and I used some black sparkles from Recollections and a MS snowflake punch, a SU tag corner punch, purple eyelet, twill and button from CTMH and cording from MM. I think that's it, then I put him on a kraft bag and he is ready for gift giving!

A card for the puke pile and an upcoming class
Okay so I seriously debated on wether or not to even post this card or not as it seems to me to belong in to what I have recently named the "puke pile" or that pile of cards that you look at and say wow that is really not good. Now sometimes I have a love/hate relationship with my cards but this card not so much with the love, however lest you think I have not been crafting lately I have, it just might not be working out for me. I also have been working on this super simple, plain Jane event calendar which will be for my next class held on Tuesday December 14th at 6:00 pm. I will be sending out an e-mail to my customers with the exact info but if you are interested in attending shoot me an e-mail as this will make an excellent Christmas gift and the cost is only $12.00 per calendar. So here are the details on the card, I used the Mojo Monday sketch and Making Memories Paper, the poinsetta is "The Best Gift Of All" CTMH, sentiment is also CTMH, I also used gold stickles for the dots.

Boxed sets and a tag
Well here is my picture of some of my boxed sets from my craft fair last weekend. The picture is horrible but my light was quickly fading. These are super simple cards and all of them except for the blue ones held 5 cards and matching envelopes. Next up is a little tag I made today using that new MS punch I bought yesterday, and My Minds Eye paper, the stamp is a freebie from Unity that was in my papercrafts magazine(score for me)and I stamped in Cocoa the bunny and snowflake were also MS punches, the pearls, twill and button are CTMH, the ribbon is American Crafts and I used MFT'S rolled flower die and some felt for the flower. Everything was distressed with Tim Holtz Vintage Photo ink.
Out Of Shape?
Don't answer that question! Just kidding today is Monday so that means it is time for the next Heart2Heart Challenge. This week the challenge is to make a shaped card, any shape other than a square or rectangle how fun is that? I knew right away what I wanted to do, I bought the cutest bird shaped chipboard album at Michael's for a buck, so I just folded a piece of cardstock in half, traced one of the chipboard pages, cut it out and voila a bird shaped card. Then using the wonderful new "Mistletoe" paper I covered my card and decorated it uo. That fabulous ribbon is from the Cocoa collection and I made that wonderfull flower out of cardstock, inked the edges in Desert Sand and added a cocoa button and some hemp. The sentiment was stamped from the Everlasting Life stamp set. For the eye I cut out a New England Ivy circle and took a brad from the center of a poinsetta in the "Mistletoe" Mini-Medley collection and put it through the center. I also used a scalloped border punch and a rhinestone flourish from Zva Creations and did some simple stiching along the edge. This challenge really inspired me and I hope it does you as well because it is another 4 for 40 week which means if we get 40 players this week one lucky player will win 4 cards handmade by the incrediably talented Andrea Ewen. So to play along just go to Heart2Heart see what the rest of the design team has come up with(you won't be dissapointed)and get working on your project using mostly CTMH products and then link back so we can see what you have made.
