Okay, I did not want anybody to think I have been slacking in the crafting department, although I have had no time to play with paper this is what I with some help from my sister made today. They are fondant octopuses(is that right?) they are for the tops of the cupcakes for my daughters b-day party this weekend. We are doing a mermaid themed party that was inspired by the super Kate Landers, seriously google her and prepare to be amazed at her parties. However I do not have the bucks to spend that Kate landers clients do so I wanted to do a beautiful party on a dollar store budget. So when I saw the cupcakes she had made for her mermaid party, I thought " I could do that" I have never touched fondant before in my life but I have to tell you I kinda like it, we also made some pearls and sea glass but I will share that tommorrow! Let me know what you think of my knockoff cupcake toppers.

Very cute. My daughter makes and sells fondant cupcake toppers on etsy. She also does cupcakes and cakes for parties locally. What a coincidence.
