Summer 2010 Idea Book Blog Hop

Let's get started, I used our brand new My Creations Recipe/Photo box which is so multi functional, but I wanted to use it for recipes for this project. I covered the box with new Cherry-O Creative Basics paper which comes with 6 sheets of the plaid and 6 sheets of the polka dot paper not to mention 4 yards of 1/4" cranberry velvet ribbon all for only $7.95. After adhering the paper I distressed all the edges with Chocolate ink . I also used Tulip and Seeet Leaf cardtock. The flap on the box is magnetic so just for looks I added a Tulip button from the new Tulip Mini -Medley accent collection with a hemp bow, polka dot irresistables letters inked with Tulip Ink, and the beeeautiful new Opaques Cheery-O pearl stickers. Inside the box I used the fantastic new and matching My Originals Sugar and Spice recipe card kit- how cute and so simple! The card kit comes with 32 yes 32 4"x6" recipe cards(4 each of 8 designs), 3 12"x6" My Stickease Adhesive Sheets and 6 4"x6" recipe inserts for just $12.95. Now I am a little selfish as I am keeping this little box all to myself, it looks so cute in my newly redone kitchen, and I love trying new recipes, however if you can bring yourself to share would this not be a wonderful housewarming or shower gift? You could even share some of your favorite recipes with the recipient, or what if you decorated this box in a baby theme for a special new baby so the parents could keep all those new baby pictures in one spot or even little keepsakes like the hospital braclet and 1st lock of hair! Oh yes I think the possibilities are just about endless! Anyways without further ado here it is. recycled robot

Have you ever seen such a cute robot? Ha ha, we had to make a robot for Elaina's class out of recycled materials and this is what we came up with, personally I think it's exceptional for a recycled robot of course!

Cherry-O card

Here is a little card I made today, using the brand new Cherry-O paper pack and exclusive stamp set that comes only in the Cherry-O workshop on the go kit! I also used the lovely velvet ribbon and tulip brads for the cherries. Nothing complicated or fancy and this card only took a short time to make.

A Clear Card

Okay it's time for another sneek peek at some new product! This time I used an amazing new clear card(Love these) and I used new Cherry-O creativ Basics paper, as well as new Irresistables chipboard for the flower! I also used the MS butterfly punch, SU scalloped border punch, bitty sparkles, organdy ribbon and the Picture Perfect and TLC stamp sets! The colors I used were Chocolate,Tulip, Sweet Leaf, and Blush. I used my cropodile to punch holes along the edge of the card to weave the ribbon through. I am not sure I love the look of the ribbon but I will have to keep playing!

More sneeky peeks

Okay here is a card I made for my best friends little guy who just had surgery and had a few really rough days afterward! I used the new and available May 1st paper called Splendor and a fab new stamp set called Howdy, I used a combo of Copics and Prisma colored pencils to color, everything is pop dotted and the sun came from the old April word puzzle and the little brad in the center matches the new Splendor paper pack, I also used white ric-rak and the MS picket fence punch!

A "Sneek Peek" for the summer

This is a card I made for my best friends little boy's 4th b-day! I used CTMH'S Animal Cookies paper pack, I normally am not into the primary colors so much but lately I have been loving them. The little hedgehog image is from the amazing new summer Idea Book which will go live May 1st, he is from the July SOTM set called Happy Forever. He is colored with Copics and the balloons were paper pieced and then had liquid glass applied over the top. I also used White Daisy ribbon, foam die cut numbers, buttons, embroidery floss and Tulip brads. I also used an MS border punch and Nestability die!

Smiles

This card is really not my usual style but I think I like it! I used the Smiles, True Happiness, and retired Kindred Spirit stamp sets, images were colored with Copics, and the ribbon is from American Crafts.

Animal Cookies card

A simple card for my best friends little boy who is having surgery tommorrow, I used Animal Cookies paper and Stickease and White Daisy ribbon, and buttons.

Miracle Kit

Okay here is a sneek peek at an amazing new special coming up on April 15th for CTMH customers in honor of National Scrapbooking Month, this special will run through May 31st. This is only a sneek peek I will have more details for you later, but is it not beautiful? Sorry I can never get my pics uploaded on here in the right order!
