3rd but I don't really call Elaina's blanket I made a quilt. This John Deere one is for my son, his 5th birthday is today. So the last few weeks have been crazy busy but I wanted to get it done so I stayed up late last night to finish it, he loves it and does not notice any imperfections. I am so thankful that the Lord has given me such pleasure and joy in homemaking

New Product Blog Hop
"Welcome to our Close to my Heart New Product Sneak Peak Blog Hop! 30 Fabulous
Close to my Heart Consultants are celebrating the upcoming release of the
Autumn/Winter 2009 Idea Book by giving you a Sneak Peak of some of the great
products available in the new Idea Book starting September 1st!
If you have come here from Terrie Dodds blog, you are on the right path!
If this is your first stop, you may want to go back to Erin's blog www.tazzygirl2000.blogspot.com
I made this card using paper from the brand new paper pack called "Grace", as well as Honey cardstock. The oh so adorable stamps I used come from the new stamp set called "Childhood Portrait" after I stamped the main images in Versamark ink I then embossed them with brand new Cocoa embossing powder, I then distressed the edges of the main image with Cocoa ink. I also used Twighlight corduroy brads from the Winter Cozy collection! This card was super easy and I just love the nostalgic feel of it!
Now "Hop" on over to Leisa Hubley's blog www.bigredscraps.blogspot.com
to see her work! Be sure to visit all the Consultants at their Blogs to get
some great crafting ideas and see the great new Paper Packs and My Acrylix Stamp
Sets!
Remember, the Autumn/Winter 2009 Idea Book goes LIVE on September 1st and you can get your "FREE" copy from me when you attend my open house on Saturday the 29th from 10:00-2:00 pm

A cute boy and a light fixture
Last night was my son Evan's night to stay up and he fell asleep in the chair reading his "Northern Tool" magazine. Oh so cute I can not wait to scrap these pictures. The next picture is of my new light fixture in my dining room, I have wanted a new one for the last 5 years and finnally I got one and my dear sweet husband got up at 5:00 this morning to put it up for me, then I just added some bulbs and berry rings and voila! Thank you to Aubrey who showed me her JC Penny sale cattie where I found this awsome light on sale for $59.99 plus I got free shipping woo-hoo!
