A card inspired by the wallhanging!

This was like a 5 min card- love those! I Scored
some desert sand cardstock and glued down some of my extra butterflys from my wall hanging project! Stamped a sentiment from CTMH'S Seasonal Thoughts and stuck on some blue bling and I was done!

A butterfly wall hanging

I saw this awsome idea on a blog I go to www.theidearoom.net I loved the idea so I made my own. I spray painted an old picture frame white and used my MS butterfly punch to punch out a bunch of butterflys from scraps of October Afternoon paper and glued them to a piece of white cardstock, and voila a piece of art for my girls room!

A gift set

This is a repost of the adorable bunny in the bath card, and this is a recycled spice jar that I altered and am filling with homemade brown sugar body scrub. This is a gift for my cousin Molly who just had her first baby a few weeks after Eli was born. "Henry" whom I get to meet tommorrow for the 1st time (yeah me). I thought it would be a nice treat for the new mommy! The paper is Bo-Bunny, flowers from
Prima and the sentiment and flourish on the top are from CTMH'S Annotations stamp set!

SSSC76 Flower Pot Card

Okay this card is for Karen Giron's Sweet Sunday Sketch challeng which can be found at www.kgiron.blogspot.com I am a huge fan of challenges lately if you had not noticed. The paper is from Basic Grey's Lemonade paper pack, I also used CTMH'S Flower Pot, and Say It In Style stamp sets! The window was colored with Copics and I used raspberry fizz Flower Soft on the flower petals and some awsome green flock on the leaves which I scored at Michaels- 4 different shades of a color in 4 oz jars for a BUCK really a BUCK 4 colors, wow do I love a good deal!

The ribbon was also a buck and the little rose was a little more than a buck but there were 25 in a package! Have a great night!

Happy 4th of July!

This is a re-post of this card, but it is one of my favorites I made it last year and finally got to use it this year. I love the adorable little miss Liberty image she came from H & M stamps which sadly no longer exists! Today we are going to Sacketts Harbor Battlefield to enjoy the beautiful weather, and watch the boats in the lake, explain to kids what today is all about and just enjoy God's creation and our freedom! I hope you all enjoy your 4th of July and take the time to reflect on what this day truly means, and to all the soldiers past, present and future and their families THANK YOU for all the liberties we have because of you!

Hair Pretties

This is my second post today so if you want to see today's card just scroll down. After I made my quick card today I decided to enlist the help of my 7 year old and we set about making some hair clips. I used flowers from Prima and croched flowers from CTMH as well as Heartfelt "Wonder" diecuts, sparkle and Splendor brads also from CTMH and felt from Fancy Pants. I think they turned out cute and my daughter and I plan to make some more and even some headbands after we make a trip to Michaels.

Something Splendid

I am in love with CTMH's August SOTM "Someting Splendid" and I finally inked it up for the first time today. I wanted to do something Splendid but SIMPLE. I really like how this turned out. I actually broke out my Prisma colored pencils and Gamsol to color the flower which I stamped once in black then stamped again, colored and cut out and then I stamped a second center which I popped up with foam tape. I made the borders with my Scor-Pal, punched the butterfly with a MS punch applied bitty sparkles to the body and put pink sparkles in each corner. The sentiment is from CTMH "Say it in style". This card only took about 15 minutes and I am sure you could probably do it quicker but it takes me a while to color!
